Criccieth has several pubs in easy walking distance serving good food and real ales. In the main square you’ll find the Prince of Wales, or further down the high street the Bryn Hir Arms. You’ll find a warm welcome in both and a great atmosphere. There are also two great hotel bars, the one at the Marine Hotel is very close. The Lion Hotel  bar is also excellent and boasts some excellent real ales as well as great food.

There are also some superb restaurants in the town.

Well worth a mention and highly recommended are Poachers Restaurant and at lunchtime only Tiramor, both are situated close to the town square. Further down towards the main town beach you’ll find the Moelwyn restaurant and Swn-Y-Mor both of which have outdoor areas where you can enjoy the view whilst sampling their excellent menus. Across towards Morannedd Beach is Criccieth's famous Dylan's Restaurant.

On the High Street you’ll find Mei's Fusion Food specialising in Malaysian cuisine. There is also a great Indian restaurant, Spice Bank.

Finally, we couldn’t end without giving the Castle Fish and Chip Shop  a mention. It’s without doubt one of the best chippys in North Wales.
